On April 10th, 2024, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, in her State of the State address, recognized Trooper Brandon Bird for his generous and above-and-beyond response to a stranded motorist earlier this year.
Governor Sanders said, “Trooper Bird is with us today and I want to thank him and all of our law enforcement for their service to our state. Brandon’s story is remarkable, but not uncommon for the exceptional men and women of State Police.”
